On Monday the 18th, we headed to the Children's Museum. This was a new concept for Asli, as Turkey doesn't have anything like it. Sloan worked her 1st excavation in the Dino Dig (replicated dig site). She really enjoyed it. Maybe it was because she had to wear goggles (that are so like sunglasses)? Asli took her 1st carousel ride. She said she was a little nervous but ended up liking it. She played with Sloan & Lincoln in Playscape - the area specifically for children 5 & under. Lots of water, lots of sand, lots of exploration. Think maybe we came home with sand in our diapers? Lastly, we did a quick stop at the Super Hero exhibit. Although this picture doesn't show it, Tiernan was thrilled to find a Green Lantern costume (1 we don't have). However, he was not so happy at not driving the taxi. Katie's daughter, Ella, got to drive since she will be returning to Turkey soon & not have the CM.
