Amanohashidate - Sunday the 29th

After breakfast we headed to Amanohashidate - which is essentially known as "the bridge to the heavens". Even though it was drizzling, the view held up to the title of 1 of the top 3 views in Japan. We took the monorail up to see it as pictured here. Someone somewhere decided the best way to take full advantage of the view is to stand on a bench & look upside down through your legs. My theory is that on a clear day, the reflection of the mountain in the water with the bridge of trees, if seen upside down, float together & one can't tell which is the reflection & which is the real thing. Yes, we had some good giggles with the 4 of us 30-somethings bending upside on a bench in the rain...
