Weekend in Auburn

We headed up to Auburn for the weekend. I would say "Ft. Wayne" but Tiernan corrects me every time with "No Momma, J lives in Auburn. Not Ft. Wayne." At any rate, here are some fun pictures from the weekend. The boys slept together in Jarin's bed. Funny thing is that it's a bunk bed... Neither slept on top. We went to the DeKalb County Parade Saturday morning. Lexi was in the parade with the Brownies. The kids had fun waving & collecting candy. Sloan spent much of the parade content in Kelly's lap. Afterwards, we played on the trampoline. Tiernan loves jumping, but the twins have been hesitant to get on with other kids. Chris did a great job getting them used to being on it. As you can see with Lincoln diving over Chris - got comfy fast, eh? Last picture isn't great but I think it's hilarious. The boys are playing the Wii. They aren't quite 5 yet & here they are totally engrossed! I think they were boxing in this picture. They played golf, bowling, tennis... you name it. Then they napped & their dads took their spots! I didn't snap any pix of the dads though... The remotes weren't even cold & Chris & Nate were going at it. I'm not so innocent either. Kelly & I had a few rounds of bowling & some golf in there. I have to admit, it's a fun system. Maybe we'll ask Santa for one.... Had a great weekend. The 4 adults even got to go out for dinner! Good food that we didn't have to hear "bite?" with & good uninterrupted conversation with great friends, what more could we ask for? We were definitely thankful to carve out some time with the Heffelfingers.
